Just to say I am not sending back any receipt till I get what is coming to me. Just think a measly $20.30 for my poor boy's life, that he gave to help to make freedom for you low down suckers. What do any of you care about any of the loved ones that have given their all. Why were those boys sent to Hong Kong and not even a rifle to defend themselves with? Will you explain that? I know my boy meant $20 a month and this is what I get in four long years of torture.

If he was killed in Dec. 1941 why didn't I get word then when they got word about Col. Lawson, they were chums, but my boy wasn't worth while. Of all the low down rotten things that can be done, this government has done it.

It just makes my blood boil when I hear about these poor boys coming back, with no homes to come to and nothing in them and then a raise of $2000 on your salaries without tax. How do you think people are going to stand for things like this.

I only hope the boys will go down there and blow up the whole darn works, and if I was a man I would go and help them.
When you think of a nobody like old [MacKenzie] King skipping to the U.S. in the last war and then come back to be ruler of our country. (All politics) nothing about all the trouble and sorrow in the world today and nothing to help make peace.
My next vote will be C.C.F. it can't be any worse than this.

You expect me to send back a receipt and didn't even send a stamped addressed envelope. Well I'm not sending it.
