Form News

The members of 10D make up a very diversified group, thus creating a remarkable form.
In the academic realm we do not see eye to eye. While all of us tried to adopt French as our second language, Paul Taylor, Paul Terbenche and Dwight Elliott tried Latin, and Eudora, Shirley James and Yvonne Parnell, Spanish. On the more artistic side we have Carlie McAvoy and Ray Winfie Id taking Music, Marg Baxter, Pat Busby, Gweneth Gooderham, Kathy Lewis, and Mary Rowe trying their luck in art. If we need any repairs done to the food or furniture, we call upon Helen Davey, Dianne Sedorko and Shirley Stewart as home-makers, and Philip Wakely, Ricky Rose, Don Boughen, Sauly Glober, Peter Clement, Bill Terbenche, David Mustard, Wayne Joice, Dwight Elliott, Paul Taylor and Paul Terbenche as industrial workers.
In the field of higher endeavor - physical I mean - we are not without representation. Sauly, Paul Terbenche and Ray wore the football uniforms. Phil, Sauly and Paul put the basketball teams in their winning stride. In the Cadet Corps we have Phil, Pete, Ricky and Ray representing our form. Our form spirit is somewhat exuberant, to say the least, but perhaps misdirected. At a party held this year we found as many non-members as members present.
Horses and pigeons often form the topic of conversation in one corner of the room with Dwight boasting of his fine pigeons which Bill exclaims he raised and sold to Dwight. Don talks just as loudly of his ponies. Wayne has come up with another hobby besides raising pigeons and that is landing chickens.
Peter is the strong silent type who tramps around in the woods with his rifle.
When Dianne gets out she is going to make her hobby of diving for pearls her main source of income.
Of course, we too have our representative to the students' organizations: - Dwight Elliott is on the Students' Council; Gweneth, the Girls' AA Rep; Phil, the Boys' AA Rep; and Ray a member of the Blue 'n' White Staff.
This concludes the information about the famed 'One and Only' 10D. We hope to see all of you next year.
