Form News
On a typical Friday morning at five minutes to nine whom do we find blocking the hall outside 213? That's right 11B!
Maybe Miss Brownie has been involved in a car accident again, but no, here she comes now. Quick, Ron and John hide your unfinished English homework.
After announcements we stroll down to Math class where Margo R is always late. Mr Hass always seems to ask Roberta M a difficult question much to her discomfort.
In English, Jim G plays the role of Hamlet, but I am not sure that Shakespeare would appreciate his pronunciation. Jim is our only cadet and football player. Miss Brownie never calls the McElroy twins by their correct names and Liz D has difficulty remembering to bring her precis on the proper day. Judy Mc and Fred J are our library representatives and Fred has a peculiar habit of stamping everyone and everything except the card. Gloria W and Sharon W are seen and not heard and Gordon S is the philosopher of our class.
In Latin, Lois M stands up to translate the reading lesson and suddenly her Coles' Latin notes slide to the floor. Arthur D seems to enjoy Latin and is always eager to answer questions.
In History Mr Roberts scowls at Doug B because he forgot the desk pad. Doug is also our BAA rep. Mr Roberts often asks Linda T to point out places on the map, but she just remains seated and flashes him her famous smile. Linda is also our GAA rep and Students' Council rep. Oh, look out Robin, Mr Roberts is advancing towards you.
At noon our music students Lynn M, Dianne M, David C, Robin L, Susan D, Anne O, Nancy S, Judith M, and Arn R flock to the music room for a special meeting. (You see we have our own miniature orchestra too) The 'Three Mouseketeers', Wendy F, Gerri G and Anne O are secretly making plans for a coming party.
Lynda G V has arrived late for Physics and has to go to the office and get a 'ticket'. We have a newcomer to our class, Hans V D and Mr Gourlay told Arn R to take him under his wing.
Back to history again. Mr. Roberts of ten teases Sue P about a certain G E and Sue by the way is captain of our intramural volleyball team.
Gary E likes to go to French and read the magazines. I wonder why? Chris C isn't quite sure what sex she belongs to because one morning she replied to Miss Pochon 'Elle se rase la barbe.'
We have adopted an Indian boy named Anantha Rao Vadluri and Judith M is our class treasurer for this project.
At three-twenty the bell rings and we all leave with great vitality. I am sure that when the school year ends in June we will be able to say that we sincerely enjoyed being in 11B.
